About the position

We are looking for someone to help grow RWII’s online presence and keep our social media accounts informative and up to date.

This involves;
• Scheduling regular posts raising awareness on wellbeing, promoting our services, fundraisers and volunteer opportunities
• Growing our social media network by connecting with relevant organizations and projects
• Respond and pass on inquiries received via social media


There is no typical profile for an RWII Volunteer. Each RWII Volunteer brings their unique skillset to leave a lasting impact on our work.

The minimum age for an RWII Volunteer is 21 and there is no upper age limit. A minimal level of higher education and professional competency is necessary.

RWII Volunteers must demonstrate a strong commitment to the values and principles of volunteering, respect for diversity, and a willingness to work in a multicultural environment.


Our volunteers are offered the chance to increase their professional skills, develop their personal qualities, and enhance their knowledge through the RWII projects.

We welcome applicants from all walks of life, so volunteering with RWII means working with a diverse and multicultural group of colleagues.

Support is will also be provided to all new volunteers to ensure they realize their full potential in their chosen field.

A key consideration is this is an unpaid volunteer position.

The Refugee Wellbeing and Integration Initiative is a growing nonprofit research organization dedicated to humanizing the integration experience of refugees and strengthening host communities.

RWII works with local governments, civil society groups, academic researchers, and others in the Netherlands to improve their positive impact and advocate for refugees’ wellbeing.
